Who we are
SideTrack is a netball stat tracking app for parents on the sideline, developed and published by SideTrack, Queensland, Australia. This policy applies to the SideTrack app on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
What data the app stores
SideTrack saves the following information locally on your device:
- Player names you enter
- Team names and colours you create
- Game records including scores, stats, dates, and positions
- App preferences and settings
None of this information ever leaves your device.
What data we collect
SideTrack has no backend server, no database, no account system, and no analytics. We have no visibility into how you use the app, what you name your players, or any game data you record.
Camera and photo library
SideTrack requests access to your camera and photo library only when you tap the Share photo feature. Photos are used in that moment to create a shareable image. No photos are stored by the app beyond what already exists in your camera roll.
Children's privacy
SideTrack is designed for use by parents and guardians. Player names entered into the app (typically children's first names) are stored only on your device and are never transmitted anywhere. We do not knowingly collect any information about children.
Third party services
SideTrack uses no third party analytics, advertising, or tracking tools. No SDKs phone home. No data brokers. Nothing.
Data deletion
Deleting the app from your device permanently deletes all data associated with it. There is no cloud backup and no way to recover data after deletion, so please be sure before uninstalling.
Your rights
Because we hold no data about you on any server, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete on request. All data is yours and lives entirely under your control on your device.
Store disclosures
Consistent with this policy, SideTrack's Google Play Data safety declaration and Apple App Store privacy nutrition label both state that no data is collected and no data is shared, in any category.
Changes to this policy
If SideTrack ever changes how it handles data, this page will be updated and the date at the top revised before any change takes effect.
